Thanks for competing in The Amazing Recycling Race, kindly supported by Mountain Culture Katoomba (thanks, Red)!

Collect the most 10c cans/bottles/cartons in October for us, between now and when we pick up on Sunday 1st November to win the 1st prize of $100 in Mountain Culture gift vouchers, or the two runner up prizes of $50 gift vouchers!

To be fair to our supporters collecting already, we are awarding a 5th $50 voucher to someone who has collected the most over the past year.

Please see Ts & Cs beneath the form below.

Thank you for your response. ✨

(We will use this to confirm you have actually signed up )

Terms and Conditions – the boring stuff!

  1. Residents of the Blue Mountains between Blackheath and Springwood are eligible to take part. This is so that we don’t have too far to drive.
  2. You must respond to our text message to confirm that you have entered the race.
  3. Wine or spirits bottles (which may show the 10c) are not yet recyclable with the NSW Return and Earn scheme, so will not count towards your total.
  4. Elijah and Crumpet will pick up the amount collected, count it using the Return and Earn Container Deposit machine, and treat the refund as a donation to us. We will record the amount.
  5. The winners will be announced in a Facebook post no later than 7th November.
  6. Employees of businesses we already pick up from are not eligible to participant in the competition.
  7. Winners will be contacted by text to arrange the delivery of the gift vouchers. Failure to respond by 30th November will result in the prize being forfeited. The prize will then be given away on a future campaign.
  8. The Mountain Culture gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Mountain Culture Katoomba.
  9. No cash alternative is available.
  10. A list of all collected amounts will be available on request (with initials for names for anonymity).
  11. Mountain Culture is not responsible in any way for the competition, which is being run by Elijah and Crumpet (Rob Lonsdale).
  12. Drink responsibly 🙂
