We are in our 4th year of this community project which combines RECYCLING with COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT for Elijah, with the result of us creating our ‘That Recycling Book’ , which is all about this very project!

We have a number of local businesses and households supporting us by collecting their bottles and cans for Elijah to recycle.

So if you live in Katoomba, Leura, or down the mountain (as long as you are near the Highway) and wish to take part, please contact us using the form below and we will get in touch to set it up!

It’s a simple idea …

1. You collect 10c cans, bottles and cartons for us.
2. We provide the bag, which we then pick up when it’s full (Elijah gets to say hi if you live close by!). Or you can continue using your own boxes and we will tip them into our containers.
3. You text us when you are ready for a pick up.
4. We put the containers into the ‘Return and Earn’ machine.
5. We give you a free book on joining (if you want) and then more of our books as you collect!
